Corey Stoll, most known for starring as Dr. Ephraim Goodweather in FX's The Strain, as well as his role as Peter Russo in Netflix's House of Cards, will be taking his talents to Homeland in Season 4. He will be playing Sandy Bachman, a CIA station chief in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Stoll revealed to Vulture this week that he will be "working with Carrie [Claire Danes]" in the geopolitical thriller. He admitted that he could not reveal many details about his character, but added that it was a "fun" role for him.

"I don't think I can talk about it. I would love to talk about it, but I think there's an embargo," he said. "I can say I was in South Africa for three weeks. I got some vacation, I got to hang out with the fantastic cast and crew, I got to see South Africa and do a fun, kicka-- little spot. It was the perfect crime."

Stoll also admitted that he was a fan of Homeland in Season 1, "but I quickly binge-watched the last two" after hearing that he got the role for Season 4.

Asked what he thought about Carrie and Brody's (Damian Lewis) love story throughout the series, and how it ended, he was tight-lipped.

"I don't want to talk about that," he quipped. "Certainly not on the record."

Homeland Season 4 premieres Sunday, Oct. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.
