Levi's (Zachary Garred) true identity has been revealed, but it could still be too late to ensure that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and her family will be safe from his cons on General Hospital.

Maxie Considers Calling Off Her Wedding?

After Nathan (Ryan Paevy) realized Levi had stolen Felicia's (Kristina Wagner) Aztec necklace and noticed his Australian accent had disappeared, he tried valiantly to stop the conman from marrying Maxie, so he could arrest him and throw him in prison, where he belongs. However, Levi managed to get the better of him, knock him out, and leave him bloody while he ran off to marry Maxie.

Now, an unconscious Nathan has woken up, and will try and work with his partner, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) to stop the marriage from becoming official.

Levi A No-Show At The Wedding?

"We can't let him marry Maxie," a bloody Nathan says to Dante in a preview clip for the Wednesday, August 13 episode.

The two cops may quickly try and formulate a plan to stop the nuptials-but Maxie herself may finally be coming to terms with the fact that she doesn't genuinely love Levi-but does want Nathan, as she will be hesitant to answer when Lucy (Lynn Herring) asks her the important question about taking Levi on as a husband.

"Do you take Levi to be your husband?" Lucy asks her.

If Maxie does wind up changing her mind, she could end the wedding and may try to run and find her true love, Nathan-though Levi's real identity could then be exposed once more as he tries to ensure he gets what he's truly after.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 2 p.m. on ABC.
