Evangeline Lilly is getting into character for her latest venture into the Marvel universe and it looks like she has the look for Hope Van Dyne down.

Taking to her own Instagram page, Lilly showed off her latest haircut that she will have for Ant-Man, which is currently filming in San Francisco. Lilly plays Hope Van Dyne, who is the daughter of Jane Van Dyne, the original Wasp.

In the comics, Jane became the Wasp to avenge the death of her father, scientist Vernon van Dyne, and worked as Hank Pym's partner.

Cast For 'Ant-Man' Set To Include Rapper-Turned-Actor

She was a founding member of the Avengers, appearing in the first issue and giving the team its name. It is with the Avengers that Janet became most well-known. At first she was the weak link of the team, but later on became one of the smartest and craftiest of its members.

It seems like while Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) will be passing the torch of Ant-Man to Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), there could also be a similar passing of The Wasp from Jane to Hope during the film.

SuperHero Hype also added photos from the San Francisco set also surfaced with shots of Rudd's Lang walking around the city with a backpack. Filming is taking place in San Francisco before moving to Atlanta in the coming weeks for extensive shooting.

Ant-Man is directed by Peyton Reed and also stars Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, John Slattery, Gregg Turkington and T.I.

It hits theaters on July 17, 2015.
