With the first movie hitting DVD, stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James recently dished on what fans could expect when they went back into the Divergent franchise's world next March.

'Insurgent' Author Talks Spinoff Idea & Possible Cameo In New Film

Speaking with Extra TV (featured below), Woodley talked about the difference in tone and look from the first movie to the sequel, Insurgent.

"A lot of things are different, we have a different director, a different costume and set designers but the movie itself looks very different and has a very different look to it," Woodley said.

"It is bigger in scale and the action scenes are much more intense. The first movie was about figuring out the story and describing the world and making sure the audience understood that and [in Insurgent] we have a lot more time to dive into the individual characters."

James talked about the massive amount of train sequences the movie has and what types of stunts they performed on the transportation devices.

"There is a big sequence, which is cool actually, of me, Shai, and Ansel [Elgort] and we kind of jump on this train and get attacked by like 40 people and it becomes this huge action sequence, which is really cool and took about a week to film," James said.

It seems like the stars are in line with what Elgort has said previously that the film will contain much more action and be able to have more intimate moments with the characters, which was something that didn't get as much attention in the first film.

Insurgent is set to open in theaters on March 20, 2015.
