The couple who got engaged in "The Bachelorette" finale and who had to keep their relationship in secret until Sunday, were spotted exiting ABC's studios on Tuesday after they appeared on Live! with Kelly.

The couple told host Kelly Ripa, that they used code names Dolly and Dean to keep their relationship in secret.

Tuesday night, they had dinner at New York City's Abe & Arthur's where they celebrated Holm's 28th birthday.

"This is by far the best relationship I've ever been in," Maynard told People Magazine in an interview published Wednesday.

A witness said Maynard could not stop looking at Jef during dinner, according to Us Weekly.

"They continuously were whispering into each other's ears. . . . At one point, the pair posed for a photo of Jef kissing Emily's check. It was very sweet," the witness told the magazine.

Maynard accepted Holm's proposal in Curacao in an emotional 2-hour finale that aired Sunday and was watched by 8.6 million people, according to ABC figures.

"The Bachelorette" 2012 finale marked ABC's biggest summertime audience at the 8 p.m.-10 p.m. schedule in almost six years, ABC noted.

Maynard and Holm are planning their wedding.
