While only seen for a little bit of time, Paul Giamatti was introduced during the last Spider-Man movie as the Rhino as the villain fought the hero both in the beginning and end of the movie, in what was supposed to be a lead up to the villain team-up. But will he still be around for that movie?

An Oscorp Employee Could Be Spider-Man's Second To Last Fight In 'Sinister Six'

Right now the line-up for the Sinister Six includes: Green Goblin, Mysterio, Kraven the Hunter, Vulture, and Doctor Octopus. This leaves one space open and a handful of villains that they could bring in.

The Lizard, who faced Spider-Man in the first movie, is technically jailed up and has spoken with the mystery man who seems to be recruiting the six to become a team. There is also Giamatti's Rhino, who was captured at the beginning of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, only to be released again by the same man.

One Villain In 'Sinister Six' Could Be Set Up For Expansion In 'Amazing Spider-Man 3'

There is also the prospect of Venom entering the conversation since the villain is getting his own spin-off movie and could be introduced briefly in this film before moving on to go deeper in the character in the standalone movie.

Could Rhino be cut? Right now it seems like even the actor is unsure of where they stand as the last time Giamatti commented on returning he said that he was set for the next Spider-Man movie, but made no mention of the villain team-up.

This could mean that they are looking to bring in another newer villain for the Sinister Six and Rhino will be sidelined until Amazing Spider-Man 3, where he could either be the main villain or be a helper for whoever wants to take on the web-slinger in his next solo film.

Sinister Six is set to open in theaters on November 6, 2016.
