It seems like the spy game may be coming to the next Expendables movie in the form of a former James Bond actor and current "November Man."

'Being John Malkovich' Star Wants In For 'Expendables 4'

Pierce Brosnan spilled during an interview with Extra TV that he has spoken with Avi Lerner, producer of the Expendables movies, about joining the cast for the fourth movie.

"Avi Lerner, who makes them, was over in Bulgaria recently and offered me this job and I said 'sure,'" Brosnan said. "I gotta read the script and then let's talk money."

Sylvester Stallone Teases Possible 'Expendables 4' Setting In Asia

Brosnan is having a return to being a spy recently after a long period following his stint as James Bond with this year's The November Man, which stars another Bond alum Olga Kurylenko and Luke Bracey.

It would be a change of pace action-wise if Brosnan joined the movie; while his Bond movies shared their fair amount of large explosions and crazy plots, he was never known for his fighting skills at the level of Sylvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger, but clearly having a former Bond would make for a fun addition to the cast.

Jackie Chan is another name who has confirmed that he has spoken to producers about being in the next Expendables movie, but Chan wants a more substantial role if he is going to join.

Brosnan didn't say much about what he would do since he hadn't seen the script yet, so it is unclear if he will have a more cameo role or a regular one.

The Expendables 4 has no release date yet.
