They're not new to reality competition shows, but that's exactly what Keith Tollefson and Whitney Duncan think will give them a huge advantage on season 25 of The Amazing Race.

Phil Keoghan Reveals Secrets For Season 25

In a pre-season interview with CBS, the engaged couple, who met and fell in love while competing on CBS' sister show Survivor, talked about how being on one show prepped them for the other.

"Survivor...you're around people you don't know, it's a very diverse cast..." Duncan says in the interview clip. "And I think that will help us because you learn how to deal with those people, you learn when to keep your mouth shut and just think your own thoughts and maybe don't say them."

However, Tollefson feels that something else really works for the couple-the fact that they're able to combine strong physical and mental ability and work together to get through things.

"What we really have going for us....some people may be extremely strong physically, maybe some people may be strong mentally," he says. "We have a very good combination of both. She's very, very good with endurance. I have the ability to do some of the strength stuff."

Tollefson also admitted that the two would work well together because of their different ways of handling pressure and stress.

"She's extremely competitive," he says. "I'm competitive as well, but I'm really more chill. So it's more of a situation where we're struggling I think we'll be able to balance each other out."

Duncan also admits the two only have one real fear in their race.

"There's nothing really physically that we're afraid of, we're both very adventurous," she said. "I think our biggest fear would sometimes be letting our stubbornness get in the way because we're both very stubborn."
