With fans clamoring for some sort of major crossover between the other Marvel movies and the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, is it possible that the sequel could offer the first team-up that would also help set-up a solo film for one of the Avengers?

The Nova Corps Could Add Another Hero In 'Guardians 2'

One heroine who has helped the Guardians before is She-Hulk, also called Jennifer Walters and is the cousin of Bruce Banner. But could this mean she shows up in the sequel and brings the mashing Hulk personality to the galaxy?

In the comics, She-Hulk had to prevent a radiation leak in a downed S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. This radiation exposure apparently mutated Jennifer to the point that she could not transform back into her original form. But this was an agreeable turn of events for her, since she preferred her She-Hulk form anyway.

Will 'Guardians 2' Dive Into More Of The History Of Rocket & Groot?

Though this happened while working with the Fantastic Four, it could be a way of having She-Hulk taken off of Earth and meeting up with the Guardians. After this happened off-screen, she could of been sent by S.H.I.E.L.D., who couldn't contain her in just the She-Hulk form, to somewhere where the Guardians find her and use her skills to help fight in the sequel.

This would also give Marvel a possible way to bring She-Hulk and Hulk together for a team-up in a standalone movie for the green hero with Mark Ruffalo clamoring for some sort of solo venture.

Guardians 2 is set to open in theaters on July 27, 2017.
