Ava Jerome (Maura West) successfully kept herself from miscarrying her child, but it doesn't mean there's any less hatred for her going around on General Hospital.

Ava's Life In Danger?

She's been left to the safe keeping of her brother, Julian (Michael DeVry) and a host of bodyguards, because her life is at stake thanks to their sworn mob enemy, Sonny (Maurice Bernard). After learning that Ava had killed Connie, Sonny swore he'd end her life, but Ava shocked him with news that she was pregnant-and the baby was either his or his son, Morgan's (Bryan Craig). Sonny promised to keep her alive until the baby was born, but swore her life would be over soon after-causing her to flee.

Now, Sonny will do whatever it takes to make sure he can get Ava back under his roof, where he can keep his eye on her and keep her from getting away with the murder she committed.

Ava Makes A Deal With Luke

"I just need Ava under my control," he says to his henchman, Shawn (Sean Blakemore) in a preview clip for the Thursday, September 18 episode.

He isn't the only one out for revenge against Ava however. Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) is convinced that Ava is the one who arranged for Rafe to run Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Sabrina's car off the road to send a message to Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise). The accident caused Sabrina to give birth to her son Gabriel prematurely, but he didn't survive in the end. Now, Sabrina wants revenge and will continue to actively try and sabotage Ava's pregnancy so she can know how it feels to lose a child.

"I have something very important to say to you," Sabrina says to her in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
