Tom Cruise went to lunch in Malibu with friends at the Greek restaurant Taverna Tony and when asked by photographers how he was doing, he replied "I'm good!"

The "Vanilla Sky" star made a visit to the Church of Scientology in Hollywood after the meal.

TMZ obtained video footage of the star telling photographers how he felt when leaving the restaurant.

It is the first time the 50-year-old has been photographed since going to New York to visit his daughter Suri after several weeks apart. Cruise was seen carrying the 6-year-old into the Greenwich Hotel in Manhattan and his sister was photographed carrying a teddy bear for her niece.

He was blindsided during production when Katie Holmes filed for divorce after 5 years of marriage. The divorce was finalized within a few weeks. According to several reports, Holmes did not receive a divorce settlement but Cruise received unlimited visitation rights. His child support payout will exceed $10 million by the time their daughter turns 18.

Cruise recently wrapped production on his upcoming film "Oblivion." He recently topped Forbes magazine's "Highest Paid Actors" list earning a reported $75 million in the last year.

Holmes, 33, was seen going to dinner with a "mystery man" in New York last week prompting speculation that she had already moved on from her marriage after only a month from the split. The gentleman turned out to be her attorney.

Holmes and Cruise married in 2006. It was his third marriage and her first. They only had one child, Suri, 6.
