On Friday, the trailer for the third season was released where Will starts off by giving a speech on how they're not doing their jobs to make good TV; they do it to make the news. Breaking news starts going around that keeps all the reporters busy on what's taking place. Neal believes that social media can solve the crime that's happening, giving some insight on how the colleagues are going to connect with each other.

The crime that's occurring is becoming a big deal in the office since law enforcement had to publicly disclose information because a paper or website put someone's life in danger. As Will explains all of this in an angry manner, he mentions that if the criminal is hiding somewhere, then he needs confirmation before he reports that on television.

Things then start to get romantically intense when Don and Sloan discuss where their relationship is at that point. Sloan seems unsure, but Don's nerves appear to catch up with him.

The trailer continues with more drama going back and forth when the company is told that if there is news being gathered illegally that is being reported, then there will be criminal fines that will bankrupt them.

The Newsroom Season 3 airs on Sunday, November 9 on HBO.
