Rumor has it that pop star Katy Perry has been romantically linked to her friend DJ Diplo, but it looks like another guy might be on her mind right now.

On Wednesday, IOL reported that Perry and Diplo might be keeping things simple right now, which could be due to her alleged feelings for Harry Styles from One Direction.

"They like each other Katy and DJ Diplo are casually dating, but she's developed a huge crush on Harry, which she calls unexpected," a source said.

If this is true, then there might be some deceit taking place since Perry might just be trying to use the One Direction star to get back at Taylor Swift, Styles' ex and Perry's rumored enemy.

"I think he's concerned Katy's playing him to get back at Taylor for supposedly bad-mouthing her," a source told UK's LOOK.

The insider also mentioned that Styles reached out to the "Birthday" singer to talk about the "Shake It Off" star.

"Katy was touched and asked him to dinner," the source said. "She's enjoying it, but there may be a little element of revenge behind it too."

As it turns out, the site said that Swift is apparently "shocked" that these two are so close.

There's no word yet if any of this information is true or not, but there's a good chance that the rumors could get worse before anything gets confirmed.
