After a successful run for the US in Women's Gymnastics during the 2012 Olympics team competition, the Men will be taking over the schedule for August 1 events.

Wednesday's schedule features Men's Gymnastics in the all-around individual competition. The all-round games are the most competitive because a gold win suggests you are the best in the world.

US gymnasts John Orozco and Danell Leyva will be featured in these rounds as their Olympics Gymnastics debut. The athletes are hoping to make the best first impression by earning medals quickly.

However, the American team faces stiff competition with Kohei Uchimura of Japan being considered one of the greatest gymnasts in the history of the sport. Although Uchimura is definitely a threat to the US team, he has yet to win an Olympic gold in his career. He took home silver in the all-round individual during the Beijing Olympics and is the three-time defending gold medal world champion. Therefore, a possible gold this year is not impossible for the Olympic gymnast.

Fabian Hambuechen of Germany is also growing as a strong competitor. Although the gymnast does not have an impressive list of awards compared to Uchimura, Hambuechen has had a good start at the 2012 London Olympics.

During the qualifying rounds, he earned the fourth best time in the horizontal bars final. Hambuechen also had the third best score overall in the qualifying round for the individual event--scoring higher than Uchimura.

Catch the Men's Gymnastics all-around individual live at 11:30AM EST. A replay will air on NBC during the 8PM-12AM EST primetime slot.
