No Mediocre rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny have managed to fight off rumors that their marriage is on the verge of ending and how he has gushed about meeting the former X-Scape singer for the first time.

T.I. spoke with VH1 recently and opened up about first seeing the woman who would later become his wife and mother of his two youngest children.

"We had mutual acquaintances. I met her running around in the same studio. She ain't never really speak to me until I caught her in the mall one day by herself."

T.I., 34, also dished on the how difficult it was to get the attention of Tiny, who is five years older and the plan he had to catch her eye.

"You know, when older girls are with their peers and their girlfriends of the same age, a younger guy who might not have been as established, they're gonna be a lot tougher to get their attention at that time. But you get them by themselves though. See how they really feel."

He added that he didn't waste anytime to let Tiny turn him down, so he gave her no choice but to go out with him right then and there. He revealed that they went to a place near the mall and enjoyed hot wings.

"The best hot wings she ever had," he joked.

While he was open about how he and the What You Gon Do singer met, he played a little more coy when it came to speaking on how he knew Tiny would be his wife.

"I just don't wanna get into a Chuck Woolery moment. Like 'oohhh...aahhh.' When John Legend does it, now that is actually significant."

As far as his new song that reveals her struggle with T.I. cheating on her, he said his thoughts are not that important.

"It's more about what the public thinks. She don't care what I think man."
