It sounds like things between Juliette and Avery might go from bad to worse when Nashville returns.

Character With A Tragic Past Joins 'Nashville'

On Wednesday, a promo was released on the next episode that starts off with Rayna's new friend getting the impression on what it's like to be the country superstar. This includes a good haul of reporters flashing their cameras all over the place, which leads the singer to go off in car where she actually looks happy to be followed.

While things seem to be going well for Rayna, unfortunately, things are about to drop even lower for Juliette when she realizes that her future child is going to probably make front page news. And when she tries to talk to Avery about it, she just wants him to hear her out. But he responds with something that ought to haunt her forever:

"I wish I'd never met you."

This gives a good amount of curiosity on how Juliette will be able to deal with this unexpected child. Based on an interview with Derek Hough, who plays Hollywood star Noah, there might be a romance taking place between his character and Juliette.

"She's obviously a beautiful girl and he's a Hollywood actor," Hough told TV Line. "Yes, he is definitely attracted to her."

If he is attracted to her, does that mean he'll become Juliette's new boyfriend? Or her child's father? Only time will tell from here.

Nashville airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
