In a trailer for the upcoming new episodes, Savannah breaks the news to her father that a guy she has been dating, former American Idol star Spencer Lloyd, is coming to town and wants to take her out.

Todd remains silent for the first few moments but his facial expression most likely reveals the shock he was experiencing at the moment. Her mother, Julie then steps in and asks for the details of the date.

Still, Todd's face is frozen while Savannah tries to convince them it is not a big deal.

"It's not serious. We're just going to dinner."

He is able to muster up words for camera, saying, "For sixteen years I've dreaded this moment."

While Julie tells him to "give it up," he makes one of his infamous taglines, "I'm not worried about me giving it up."

He then tells Savannah she cannot go out with him alone because she's 16 (at the time of taping) and he's 19 years old.

"That's a huge difference from a man to a young lady. The good kids wanna have sex. Dating is overrated. Savannah is smart, beautiful young lady. She needs to wait. Take a breather."
