A new still featuring Stefanie Scott, the female lead in Insidious: Chapter 3, and director Leigh Whannell from the set of filming was revealed on October 21.

The actress is seen listening to Whanell as he seems to be talking her through a scene. The image which is posted on the official Twitter account for the movie, teases fans with a caption that amps up the excitement:

"New chapter. New fears."

Specs And Tucker To Return In Insidious 3? 

Fans of Insidious can also access behind-the-scenes photos from the filming of the third chapter of the indie-horror franchise by adding the movie on Snapchat.

On October 20, fans were invited to do so via the official Twitter account of the movie:

"Add Insidious on @Snapchat for behind the scenes shots from the set of #Insidious Chapter 3!"

Enstars thought this an apt moment to round up all the behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Insidious 3, that have been made public so far. The images give a good sense of the set, especially the haunted house the movie is set in, and feature the lead actors, Dermot Mulroney, Stefanie Scott and Lin Shaye, and director Leigh Whannell.

Whannell revealed that third film will not be based around the Lambert family. But that does not mean that this sequel will be completely disconnected from the first two films, as the writer also added that this one will be "a lot more like part one than part two."

Wan, who is currently directing Fast and Furious 7, has given his blessings to the project and even stated via Twitter that the third film will be better than the first two under Whannell's direction.

Whannell also suggested the cliffhanger in the second movie will be addressed in the third chapter.

Insidious 3 will hit theaters on April 3, 2015.
