Chrisley, who stars in USA's Chrisley Knows Best, opened up about the rumors with In Touch Weekly magazine Wednesday and cleared the air.

"I am not gay, nor have I ever been. I've never cared what others say about my sexuality. I'd much rather you think I'm getting laid versus not getting laid!" he explained in true Chrisley form.

Chrisley stars in the series along with his wife, Julie and their five children -- Savannah, Chase, Grayson, Kyle and Lindsie.

This was not the first time that Todd spoke out about speculation that he is homosexual.

Back when the show first premiered in March 2014, Todd also had to fight reports. He even commented on rumors that claimed he would be announcing his sexuality soon.

"There's no coming out. What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people's opinions of me are just not my business."

He added that while he is not ashamed of his animated characteristics and love for fashion and Elton John, he is not attracted to other men. He went on to reveal his answer to a fan who asked via Twitter, "When are you going to come out of the closet?"

"I said, 'I don't live in a closet, but if you'd like me to escort you out of yours I'm happy to do so.' All of a sudden the Tweet went away and he took it down because I flipped the script on him."

Still, the famous dad revealed he told the oldest daughter Lindsie, that the rumors could be much worse.

"I'd rather be a gay pop icon than I would a redneck..."

Chrisley Knows Best airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on USA.
