Her on screen character Olivia Pope might not be one to kiss and tell, but apparently Kerry Washington doesn't have any problems telling the world her best-kept secrets. The Hollywood actress opens up about her beauty secrets in a new interview with Allure Magazine this month.

According to Us Weekly on Friday, Washington has one simple but very important rule when it comes to her nightly beauty regimen.

She said, "The Neutrogena makeup-remover towelettes would probably be the biggest beauty must have. My rule is to not go to bed with makeup on."

She added, "A little concealer is always great for spots. I have to have lots of different colors, because as a person of color, your skin tone, even when it's really even, changes on different parts of your face."

Washington also added that she is a huge fan of eyelashes - and that thankfully she's been blessed with some really great ones, too. The new celebrity mother said, "I'm a mascara girl. I love Neutrogena Healthy Lengths. People are always like, 'Do you need an eyelash curler?' Oh no, you don't. I have very thick, curly lashes. On the show, I do not wear fake lashes. People often think I do."

Just recently, the Hollywood actress opened up about kissing her on-screen co-stars and how awkward she sometimes feels, given that she is married.

During The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, Washington dished about kissing Scandal hotties Tony Goldwyn and Scott Foley.

According to People Magazine, she said, "It's awkward, but it's been awkward from the beginning. It's always awkward. It doesn't stop being awkward."

When DeGeneres asked her who she thinks is a better kisser, Washington hesitated to answer the question before admitting, "I don't enjoy either one. I think they're both lovely men. I think they're both amazing. I love my job, and I like that I get to work with such talented, extraordinary guys, but it's awkward... it's the job."
