Are we getting another major Marvel character death fake out in one of their next movies? A gunshot wound on a major character seems to either signal a big death or another twist that ends up with the person staying alive.

Is An 'Ant-Man' Character Going To Be In 'Captain America 3?'

Comic Book Movie uncovered some set photos on Friday from the production of Marvel's Ant-Man, which includes glimpses at Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly and Michael Pena. Atlanta locals were also warned that the movie would be filming in the area and they would hear a lot of "gunfire, explosions, and pyrotechnics" during the night.

But the big reveal seems to be in the photos, which include Lilly's Hope Van Dyne helping Douglas' Hank Pym walk somewhere with another photo revealing a gunshot wound on the right shoulder of Douglas. Is Hank Pym set to die during the movie?

'Fury' Actor Hints At Big Surprises On The Way With Marvel's 'Ant-Man'

It wouldn't be the first time Marvel has faked out an audience with a death as characters like Loki (twice), Agent Coulson, and Nick Fury have all perished only to re-appear in the next movie or television series. But could this be a final death that will leave Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) in charge of the suit and future of the character?

Douglas doesn't seem like an actor who would be tied down with Marvel for multiple films and would do something along the lines of Robert Redford in Winter Soldier and move on from the universe after appearing in one film, but who knows how long they have the actor signed on for.

The gunshot wound seems to hint that something will happen to Pym, but how fatal it will be is still in question.

Ant-Man is set to open in theaters on July 17, 2015 and is directed by Peyton Reed.
