With an astounding 3 competitors in the Men's 400m Hurdles Final today, Team USA  has the capability to make quite the impact in the highly exciting event.  The three individuals representing America will be none other than Angelo Taylor, Kerron Clement and Michael Tinsley.

According to Bleacher Report, here is what the 3 United States athletes have to offer their Finals competition:

Taylor, a veteran Olympian,  had previously won his first gold in the 400 meter event at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.  However, he did go on to perform poorly in 2004 with a 4th place finish in the semifinals, but did turn it around in the 2008 Beijing Games with another 1st place finish.

Kerron Clement, who obtained an individual silver medal in 2008, makes his return to the track as well.  In the 4x100 meter relay along with Taylor, he obtained gold that same year.  Clement will aim to compile his first solo gold medal in today's finals.

Entering his very first Olympic competition is Michael Tinsley.  The 28 year-old recently pulled an upset by becoming victorious in the U.S. Olympic Trials earlier in the year.

While Taylor looks to be the favorite in the pivotal running event, he does have some stiff competition in Puerto Rico's Javier Culson, who finished ahead of him during the semifinal heat.
