It seems like Thor is going to be quite angry about something during the next Avengers movie and this could come after one of the new characters offers him a glimpse at what Loki has done and the fate that Asgard is about to face.

Thor To Face Thanos In Massive Battle To End 'Ragnarok?'

One of the new characters joining the team is Scarlet Witch, who has the power to show glimpses into the future. This is a key ability as it is something that will give Thor an idea of Ragnarok and the fury that is about to being laid on his home since his departure during his last standalone movie.

It would seem likely that at some point during Avengers: Age of Ultron, Scarlet Witch or Thor is triggered by something that makes them use her ability to look either into the present in Asgard or its future. This will lead to Thor becoming incredible angry and leaving the Avengers (but will most likely happen after the main events of the movie).

Loki Could Team Up With This Big Marvel Villain To Gain Power In 'Thor 3'

While tensions will mostly be high with these characters, Thor will be the first character to just outright leave the group as he travels back to Asgard to try and fight Ragnarok and possibly the threat of Thanos stealing infinity stones from his father's treasury.

It also makes sense with the recent news that both Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston would be showing up briefly in the movie, and it probably means that they will appear in the vision by Scarlet Witch and show what is heading to their world very soon.

Thor: Ragnarok is set for July 27, 2017.
