Though Brady and his wives are still considering expanding their family on TLC's My Five Wives, the oldest Williams daughter is fighting to keep her only child alive.

Are The Eldest Williams Daughters Refusing To Live Polygamous Lives?

Karlie, the oldest child of Brady and Paulie, had her first baby, Jacob "Huck" Jessop with husband Jake October 29-three months earlier than she was initially scheduled to deliver, and now, the family is hoping fans will send tons of prayers her way as she and her husband hope to see their son thrive and survive.

The family shared a photo on their Facebook page October 30, explaining what happened and asking their fans to pray for Karlie during her difficult time.

"On 10/29 at 2:23 a.m. our daughter Karlie pre-maturely gave birth to her and Jake's precious son-Jacob 'Huck' Jessop. We know with love, prayers and attentive hands, our little Huck will be able to make it through. Pray for #babyhuck. #myfivewives #TLC," they captioned the photo.

Brady's Health Affected After He & Wives Struggle Over Equal Time?

However, though things initially didn't look good for the family and their first grandchild, his condition appears to be steadily improving, with a new update November 3rd which seemed much more positive about the baby's chances at making it despite being born so early.

"Update: we got to do skin to skin! Both momma and #babyHuck loved it. Our baby boy makes small improvements everyday. Mommy & Daddy are so proud! Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers, keep them coming. Born: 10/29 at 2:23. (15 weeks early) 2 pounds 1 oz.-14 inches," they wrote.

The family's story recently returned to TLC with the second season of their show, which has so far seen Brady and his wives-Paulie, Robyn, Rosemary, Nonie and Rhonda-deal with the stress of equal time, in addition to their own struggles with expanding their family, which currently consists of 24 children.

My Five Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on TLC.
