Bad news, Witches of East End fans.

'Devious Maids' & 'Witches OF East End' Cross-Over Chatter

The supernatural drama that everyone was awaiting to hear back on if there would be a renewal for a third season is a no-go. Entertainment Weekly confirmed on Tuesday that the show has been cancelled.

The first season reportedly had 1.67 million viewers, but dropped down to 1.13 million in its second outing. Plus, the second season finale only had 1.03 million and 0.4 in the 18-49 demographic.

'Witches Of East End' Was Already Predicted For Cancellation?

This ought to leave fans disappointed considering that the finale had some pretty juicy cliffhangers. This involved Ingrid being pregnant, new villains, and Wendy and Joanna's mysterious new sister.

Rachel Boston, who played Ingrid, already took to Twitter to thank everyone for watching.

"Thank you to everyone who went on this extraordinary journey with us. Your love, kindness, and support is forever magic," she wrote.

If the show had come back for more episodes, then there would've been a possibility that the King wouldn't have been dead, according to executive producer Maggie Friedman, although some other bad guys were supposed to come along.

"You never know with this show, obviously, but his spirit was driven away and vanquished," Friedman told TV Line. "We can do any number of things, which is the beauty of magic. For now, let's say he's dead; we have other villains to deal with in the future, and there will be some formidable opponents coming up."
