It looks as though George Clooney is having one of the most exciting years of his life. Not only did he tie the knot with his new wife Amal Clooney this past September, but it looks as though the couple is already thinking about starting a new family.

According to Closer Magazine on Monday, rumor has it that George and Amal are thinking about adopting a child.

A source tells the magazine that the couple plan to use the adoption "to highlight the plight of orphans in countries like Syria."

What's more, Clooney himself has been wanting to become a father for quite some time now, as he's been spending a lot of time with his Hollywood friends Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.

The insider added that George and Amal "are ready to start a family" and "would love to similarly experience the joy of welcoming a new addition to the family."

Meanwhile, there were reports that hinted Amal might be feuding with Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.

According to a new report, the two women allegedly "hate each other" and are at a war of words.

Apparently, Jolie and Amal are engaging in "jealousy, insults, and backstabbing" because they are both fiercely competitive when it comes to their celebrity images and humanitarian work. A source says that it all started during the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict this past summer when Amal tried to take advantage of a photo op with Jolie, but the actress turned her down.
