Christa Billich will be seen on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne.

Jackie Gillies Pokes Fun At Herself On Instagram

Amid filming on Season 2, Christa, the wife of controversial painter Charles Billich, has reportedly joined the cast, at least temporarily, making her the eighth unofficial housewife of the second season's cast.

"I'm not an official housewife yet," Christa explained to Perth Now's Confidential on Nov. 18. "I'm a visitor I guess you could say. It is interesting, I love it and it is full of intrigue and lots of fun. There's glamour, the hair and make-up and the personalities, it is what any girl would love."

Andrea Moss Leaves 'The Real Housewives Of Melbourne,' Doesn't Miss The Nastiness

The Real Housewives of Melbourne began filming in August of this year following the show's April 2014 renewal. Returning to the show from Season 1 are Jackie Gillies, Gina Liano, Janet Roach, Chyka Keebaugh and Lydia Schiavello. Noticeably absent from the cast will be Season 1 wife, Andrea Moss, who left the show after just one season in order to focus on her family and her business.

Christa and Charles have an infamously open relationship, which is sure to bring a little spice to the already spicy series. “It’s sometimes a bit much for people to handle and to understand,” Christa said of the dynamic between her and Charles. “But it works for us, we’ve been together now for 28 years.”

Christa was brought aboard the series because of her ties to longtime friend and new housewife Gamble Breaux, and has reportedly filmed "at least" three episodes thus far.

The Real Housewives of Melbourne Season 2 will return to screens early next year.
