Banshee is about to get even creepier this season when Lucas Hood returns and embarks upon some more action and steamy sex.

In the trailer that was released on Tuesday where it's announced in a scary manner that everyone is here to fight in a war, Lucas Hood tries to make amends in his life when he's spotted driving motorcycles and polishing weapons. But it's going to probably be a while before anything becomes normal again. In fact, that's something that probably shouldn't be counted on since this show tends to go beyond what might be considered normal.

The trailer then starts to show vivid images that are pretty much R-rated. This includes bleeding bodies, wounded chests and some racy sex. Based on this, it looks like the series will not be afraid to push its limits and become as hard-core as it wants to be.

Lucas will likely question his life since he's told that everything he touches turns to blood. As an ex-con, this gives him less of a chance of having anything less than bizarre come out of this especially since Lucas says that he can live with this.

Things might not get too outrageous though because the ex-con says that he's been in worse situations, but he's still there. But based on the other scenes that show up, he may have to ask himself again if that's really true.

Banshee Season 3 premieres on Friday, January 9 at 10 p.m. ET on Cinemax.
