According to a report over the weekend, the couple had a secret ceremony in the U.S. shortly after they welcomed their first child together in September.

“Scarlett and Romain were married in a very intimate ceremony after the birth of their daughter. They kept the wedding a big secret because they both wanted privacy,” a source told the New York Post.

Rumors of a wedding started after Duriac was seen with a gold band in October and then the actress was spotted with a wedding band in November.

Johansson, 30, and the French journalist got engaged in 2013 and they welcomed their daughter Rose in September.

Prior to giving birth, Johansson spoke with the Wall Street Journal about her plans of balancing her successful career and her family life.

"It seems so stressful to not be able to spend time with your family because you're constantly chasing the tail of your own success," Johansson said. "There must exist a world in which I can balance those things, be able to raise a family and still make a film a year, or work on my own, develop things, do theater. I want to be able to have it all."

"I know that with that there will be some sacrifices. I know that's the struggle with working mothers and successful careers. It happens,” she added.

The Her actress was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.
