The preview for next week's episode of CBS's Survivor: San Juan del Sur combined with host Jeff Probst's teaser suggests a possible game-changing moment in one of the challenges.

'Survivor': Natalie, Jaclyn, Jon, Missy, Keith & Baylor Make Final 6, But Who Will Win?

As seen in the promo for next week's episode, Missy Payne appears to have seriously injured herself in one of the challenges. The promo features the Survivor medical team coming to the challenge and telling a teary-eyed Missy that she might have to be pulled from the game in order to do an X-ray.

Probst spoke about one of the challenges in next week's episode with Entertainment Weekly, revealing that something happens that is "game changing" for one castaway.

"Ah, next week holds a special place in my heart because we have a challenge that was created and designed by a very special challenge producer," Probst explained. "Austin Russell is a thirteen year old from Texas who made a visit to location through our friends at Make A Wish. His big dream was to contribute a challenge that would end up getting used on the show and boy did he deliver!

"Not only is it a cool challenge involving a huge teeter-totter and buckets of water, but it ends up creating unexpected reality on the show. That is always the hope of a challenge - that it changes the game in some way. This is definitely game changing for one player. Read into that whatever you want: It's gonna be fun!"

It seems unlikely that Probst would describe Missy being pulled from the game as "fun" so he could be talking about a different challenge or she may not have to be pulled from the game at all.

After all, it may be too obvious if Missy's injury is featured in the preview for the episode that she would actually be medically evacuated.

If this were to happen it would certainly impact the game as Baylor Wilson would be without her mother and both Natalie Anderson and Jon Misch would be losing important allies to them.

Survivor: San Juan del Sur airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
