Though some of the mysteries in Port Charles are ones that have been solved, and others are on the verge of being tied up, new ones continue to spring open and shock everyone in town on General Hospital.

Port Charles Celebrates An Alarming Thanksgiving

The newest mystery to unfold deeply affects Sam (Kelly Monaco), after Faison (Anders Hove) told her that Jason (Billy Miller) never actually died-and Patrick (Jason Thompson) knew something about it. Now, the friendship between the two, who have grown incredibly close as they teamed up to solve some of the biggest mysteries in Port Charles, is at stake, as Sam demands answers from him about her believed-to-be-dead husband.

"Is Jason alive?" Sam asks in a preview clip for the Friday, Dec. 5 episode.

Jason Remembers Something Vital From His Accident

Though Patrick does know that Robin (Kimberly McCullogh) was working on a method to bring Jason back to life, he is unaware that it was successful-and that the man they all know as Jake, whom they sat with during Elizabeth's (Rebecca Herbst) Thanksgiving dinner-is really Sam's husband.

But even though he is alive, Jake/Jason could be in trouble once again, as he runs into his former captor Helena (Constance Towers)-who may try to use him for her evil plan once again. She may have a harder time gaining control of him however, because not only is Jason very much awake and alive this time, but he also knows Helena is evil -and will likely put up a fight to keep himself safe.

"I know who you are," he says to her in the clip.

Meanwhile, over at Pentonville, things are about to get more complicated for Sonny (Maurice Bernard)-as he will find out that a former enemy is there as well-and could make his life in prison a complete hell.

"Well, look who's here," the unseen enemy says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
