The couple was spotted in Malibu looking at a few luxurious homes.

The site also reported that the couple checked out two houses while in Malibu. One is next door to Bruce Jenner and the other is close by to Pierce Brosnan's residence.

Gordon has risen to fame here in the States, with five shows on FOX, including MasterChef, which ended airing its fifth season in September.

He purchased a home in Los Angeles in November 2011 so he and his family could spend more time overseas without living out of suitcases as reported by Daily Mail Online.

Now, the chef and his family are looking to settle more permanently especially since their daughter Matilda who is 12 is following in her father's footsteps.

She's starring in her own cooking show on the children's channel, CBeebies, which is owned by BBC.

Ramsay has commented that the program will begin airing in early 2015.

He said as reported by Daily Mail Online, "It was just fascinating watching her [film], saying, 'Dad's food is posh, but my food is real food,' and showing this to her friends."
