The 100 has yet to reveal the truth about Finn's spacewalk.

Will The Grounders Kill Finn On 'The 100'? EP Dishes On Spacewalker's Punishment

With Finn's (Thomas McDonell) mini My Lai massacre hanging over him like a thundercloud, the young delinquent could use a PR makeover. The Finn-centric "Spacewalker" will hopefully do just that.

"He took this spacewalk and burned up months of oxygen, and that's why they arrested him," explained executive producer Jason Rothenburg, according to Zap2It. "But that story didn't play out the way people think it did, so we've always felt like we wanted to tell that story and it felt like this was the right time to do it."

Perhaps the new info could turn sympathy in Finn's favor, although it might be too late. If the Grounders get their way, the most fans will be able to do is remember Finn fondly. If Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Co. manage to stay the Grounder's call for Finn's execution, viewers could have the chance to see him as a champion once more.

"I think it'll help people understand him more and like him again and/or more, because what he did up there was actually pretty awesome and heroic and is a story that has yet to be told," Rothenburg told Zap2It. "I think it might complicate people's negative feelings, if they have them."
