Sorority Sisters has become the topic of countless conversations since it debuted on VH1 Monday night. Unfortunately for the show that documents the lives of a handful of women in notable sororities, much of it has not been positive.

Fans headed over to Twitter to express their dismay and disappointment with the new series.

One wrote, "That Sorority Sisters show they aired Monday night was crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyy disrespectful." as another fan called out VH1 for airing the series.

"#SororitySisters is beyond a hot mess. Instead of being caddy grown women why nots showcase community service. Not classy @VH1 !"

One even threatened to stop using Sprint, which is currently an advertiser with the controversial show.

"@sprint I'll be switching if you continue to advertise with VH1 #SororitySisters I'm a 15 year customer. Bad business. Repugnant show"

Companies seem to be taking note and have pulled their ads from the show already. Hallmark and Carmex were the first who have decided not to be associated with the show.

Hallmark announced their decision on Twitter just one day after several fans said they would no longer "support" it if they advertised with the show.

"Our commercials appeared as part of a larger buy on VH1. We aren't planning to air commercials in future episodes."

Just hours later, Carmex announced they would pulling their ads as well.

"Carmex does not endorse or represent any particular content on television. After our investigation into the new program, however, we are in process of pulling our add dollars from VH-1."

A petition has also been started on MoveOn that has already garnered nearly 65,000. It only needs 75,000 to get to the next phase.

The petition reads, "Stop the spread of ignorance and stereotyping of our beloved Black Greek letter organizations. Our founders amongst EVERY organization worked extremely hard to allow us to unite and flourish not only on college campuses, but as a people well beyond our college days, and Mona Scott-Young now threatens to demolish those aims and goals we all abide by."
