New information has been released about the upcoming Private Eye Caramba episode of ABC's Castle in addition to the two-parter later in the season.

'Castle's Rick & Kate Enter 'Flamboyant' World Of Telenovelas In New Episode

With Castle gearing up for its midseason premiere on Monday, TVLine has new spoilers about what to expect from some upcoming episodes.

Notably, the episode Private Eye Caramba!, which airs Jan. 19, is reportedly a lot of fun though it is not an episode that can easily be repeated week to week. There will apparently be a competition between Castle (Nathan Fillion), who is now a private investigator, and Beckett (Stana Katic) with her 12th Precinct. The two go against each other in trying to find out the scoop on the case of the week, providing for entertaining results.

There will also be a variety of questions answered in the episode, including if Castle's performance as a private eye will help repair the damaged relationship between him and Gates (Penny Johnson Jerald). Additionally, there might just be a Castle impersonation at some point in the episode.

The publication also discussed the two-part episode for season 7. While they note that past two-parters have consisted of marquee guest stars, this one will only have Annie Wersching, who is returning as Dr. Kelly Nieman, who was connected to 3XK.

Castle show runner David Amann told TVLine that "It's going to be mostly our people dealing with a big case that comes their way."

Either way, it's looking like some fun episodes ahead for Castle and the gang after a rough and dramatic start at the beginning of the season.

Castle returns Monday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
