Terra Jole received devastating news on Wednesday night's Little Women: LA.

'Little Women: LA' Star Terra Jole Discusses 'Scary' Pregnancy, Relationship With Joe Gnoffo

After revealing her exciting baby news on an episode prior, Jole and her boyfriend, Joe Gnoffo, traveled to the doctor, where they were informed their unborn child may have a double dominant gene.

"During their OBGYN appointment, Terra and Joe learned that there is a chance that the baby could carry two dominant genes for dwarfism, which could cause serious health issues," Bustle reported on Wednesday. "The couple was under the assumption that because they are of different types of dwarfism, the double dominant risk was not relevant, but the doctor they met with quickly negated that thought. If the baby is of the 25 percent square that is double dominant, as the doctor says, the baby could very well not survive."

Because of their situation, Jole and Gnoffo were left with two options: They can either terminate the pregnancy, or carry their child full-term. At 17 weeks, which is five weeks from when the scene on last night's episode was shot, Jole and Gnoffo will learn whether or not their child has the double dominant gene and be better able to make that choice.

As expected, Jole is quite torn. According to the report, she fears for the quality of life her baby will have with either decision, because, as she said, “she’s damned if she does, damned if she doesn’t.”

Little Women: LA airs on Lifetime every Wednesday night at 9 p.m.
