Are fans ever going to find out what Lucas's real name is Banshee? The answer to that question might be a little surprising.

'Banshee' Season 3 Has 'More Blood, More Fighting, More Sex'

On Thursday, Hit Fix posted a clip from the show's co-creator Jonathan Tropper and actors Antony Starr and Ivana Milicevic when they were at a Q&A event in Los Angeles. A question from a fan was read that asked if Lucas's real name will ever be revealed.

Fans are not going to want to get their hopes up for this because Tropper's answer was, "I suspect never."

While some may think he's just kidding or might change his mind, he added that it's more than likely not going to happen.

"That's not a joke," he said. "I mean, you never learn Clint Eastwood's name in A Fistful of Dollars. I mean, he's this iconic, mythic character who I think anything you find out will be disappointing."

Starr then gave some gestures that his character's real name will doubtfully be exposed. Milicevic then pointed out her own thoughts on this.

"Can you imagine though? There's no name," she said. "Like Thor."

The three of them then joked about what Lucas's name potentially could be- Starr suspected that it would be Gerald. He then brought up another TV show that brought him some disappointment when the first name of someone was revealed.

"Did anyone else here get really disappointed when Sex and the City's Mr. Big was John? Seriously?" the actor said with a laugh.

Banshee airs on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on Cinemax.
