Teen Wolf fans should brace themselves for plenty of action in the "scariest season ever."

It's nearly time for the MTV drama to resume filming and actor Linden Ashby (Sheriff Stilinski) believes season 5 will be packed with all the action fans have become accustomed to.

"I don't know if I'll have a sword," Ashby told an inquisitive fan. "But I know there's going to be a ton of action!"

The sheriff isn't training to use Kira's (Arden Cho) katana, but Ashby is ready to get back on set.

"Getting ready to go back to work," Ashby tweeted. "I can't wait to get started."

Set to premiere this June, season 5 will open with "Creatures of the Night." Other than vampires, werewolves are the prime denizens of the night, and hopefully the premiere will dive into Derek's (Tyler Hoechlin) new power and Scott's (Tyler Posey) growing role as the True Alpha.

The main story arc for the upcoming season has yet to be announced. Whatever new baddies come into play, however, will be sure to have viewers on the edge of their seats.

"[Season 5 will be the] scariest season ever," writer Eric Wallace said while speaking with the Gecken podcast, according to Hypable.
