Khloe Kardashian Odom is a finalist for consideration in becoming the X-Factor Host. TMZ reports that the famous Kardashian sister is the first choice among producers to take on the role in the famous talent competition. 

"There's at least an 85% chance she'll get the job," a source told TMZ.

Khloe Kardashian Odom was reportedly one of many stars to participate in a screen test for the position of host on the X-Factor. However, Karshadian impressed X-Factor executives, including Simon Cowell, and is awaiting the final decision to be made. 

Kardashian's mother and manager, Kris Jenner, is "ecstatic" for her daughter's potential role on the reality show. An unnamed source added that Jenner is "thrilled."

"She knows that Khloe has what it takes and is just thrilled," an insider source said, according to Examiner.

They continued: "It was Kris' idea in the first place to have Khloe audition to be a host on 'The X Factor'," the friend said. "Khloe has always wanted to be a talk-show host and Kris thinks that hosting "The X Factor" would be the perfect platform."

One reason Kardashian appeals to the producers is that she's likely to pull in more viewers from the young demographic the show has already targeted by hiring Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as judges.

Cowell told reporters he is looking for two hosts, one male and one female, in an effort to shake up the show.

"That will make it more interesting," Cowell said. "There's so much talking on these shows, 11 or 12 minutes. It's too boring, as Ryan [Seacrest] demonstrated, for one person to say everything. You've got to mix it up a little bit. I kind of know what we're looking for, but that's why we screen-tested people."

Cowell added on Thursday that fans can expect an announcement of the new host "within seven days."
