Teen Wolf's Tyler Posey will soon add a new job to his resumé.

In addition to portraying Scott McCall in season 5, the actor will also take on the role of co-producer.

Posey made the announcement on Wednesday, just days before the werewolves of Beacon Hills will begin filming for the fifth season.

"There it is boys and girls! Tyler Posey co-producer!" Posey tweeted. "Holy sh-t I couldn't be more proud and excited. It's going to be a good year :)"

After seven months away from set, Posey and the rest of the cast are excited to bring viewers new monsters - both friend and foe - over the course of the 20-episode run.

"It's going to be badass. Like, it's another thing we haven't done before," Posey teased, according to E! Online. "I'm really excited. It's cool because I know nothing about the season, I only know one part of it. But it's so badass that I would watch the entire season just for this one part."
