Teen Wolf's Lydia won't be leaving the series, at least not as far as fellow actors know.

'Teen Wolf' MTV: Filming Begins In Two Weeks, What To Expect From Season 5

Holland Roden kicked off the Teen Wolf hiatus last September by cautioning fans that viewers will have to tune in to season 5 to find out if all of Beacon Hills' teens make it through the break. Many believe this statement indicates that Roden's Lydia will not reappear this summer, but Roden has yet to confirm this rumor.

While the actress hasn't commented on the situation, costar Melissa Ponzio (Mrs. McCall) cautioned fans that they shouldn't read too much into Roden's previous statement.

"[That's] not true that I know of," Ponzio tweeted that fans should bear in mind that "unless [you] hear it from [series creator Jeff Davis'] mouth, the actor's mouth, or from MTV directly-then it's just a rumor."

Those members of the cast who are set to appear in the upcoming season will return to set in the next few weeks. Linden Ashby (Sheriff Stilinski) recently confirmed that the actors already have the first two scripts in hand, later adding that filming is set to begin in early February.
