Roughly six months after their Miami wedding ceremony, the couple faces speculation as to whether they are really husband and wife. According to Southern Florida entertainment news site Gossip Extra Friday, the sunshine state has yet to see any records of a marriage license.

An insider, Roberto Reboso who works as a marriage license manager confirmed that while they did get the marriage license (on Aug. 26 just five days before their ceremony), they have not turned it in yet.

"They still haven't returned the license signed by the person who officiated the ceremony. So their marriage has not been recorded by the state."

The two wed in a lavish ceremony that came with the price tag of $5 million. Interestingly enough, Union's close friend and Deliver Us From Eva co-star, Essence Atkins, was the one who officiated the wedding.

Based on Florida law, the couple had 10 days after their wedding to submit their signed license. While this isn't something out of the norm, it could result in a major issue for the two.

"It happens that some people don't send it back. But in case of legal problems, or if one of members of a couple were to die, the other would not be able to claim his or her property."

Wade currently brings in $20 million a year. Union is extremely successful as well as she stars in one of the biggest shows on television.
