Peviously, a report revealed that the idea behind Pratt's character, Owen, training raptors in Jurassic World isn't a new one, and in fact it has been sourced from the original book, Jurassic Park.

Slashfilm sourced the comments of a Reddit user points out that B.D Wong's character Henry Wu is set to return in Jurassic World, and that in the original Michael Crichton novel, Wu had suggested "domesticating" the animals.

Jurassic World also stars Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Vincent D'Onofrio, Irrfan Khan, and Ty Simpkins.

The Jurassic Park films are based on Michael Crichton's series of novels about pre-historic beasts being revived by revolutionary gene technology. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are co-producing the film alongside Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two installments in the franchise. Irrfan Khan and Ty Simpkins also star in the movie.

The film will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
