Jaime King of the CW's Hart of Dixie has been really open about her struggle to get pregnant. She has spoken out about it for the first time in a video interview.

King made an appearance on Fox's hit talk show The Real and had a candid conversation with the ladies on her previous infertility issues.

Co-host Tamar Braxton let her know that she had very similar struggles.

"When I had my son it was weird because I would see this articles about how perfect my life was, how beautiful my son was and how great I looked...And I felt really said inside because I had struggled for a long time...This huge battle that nobody knew about."

She added she was "embarrassed" and "thought something was wrong with me."

One thing that prompted her to speak out was that she felt it was unfair to other women with similar struggles. She didn't want to be painted in this "perfect" picture knowing she suffered behind the scenes.

"It was curated and filtered. I don't want to be that for women. I want women to know I'm there and they're not alone."

While breaking her silence on her personal life was extremely brave, King made it clear she was "terrified."

"It's terrifying to be honest. But if you're not nobody can learn from it."

King gave birth to baby James in October 2013. Since then, her Hart of Dixie co-star Rachel Bilson delivered her first child, daughter Briar Rose.
