Will Smith might be one of the richest and most famous actors there is, but he has revealed that his youngest son, Jaden, doesn't live the life most outsiders would expect; especially as a 16-year-old.

Will spoke with Esquire magazine in its newest issue and said Jaden only owns one pair of shoes! He also only has three pairs of pants and five shirts. That's what makes up his wardrobe. While it sounds shocking, Will said he definitely accepts the way his son chooses to live.

"He has refused to be a slave to money. I so respect that. The younger generation is less of an ownership generation, anyway...But I would like to get him another pair of shoes."

Will said that Jaden has many more opportunities and fortunes than he ever experienced growing up.

"It's so interesting to me that from growing up in that space, he could see the need for things in a way that he's rejecting. He's like, 'I'm not gonna let myself need things in that way.'"

Jaden's career is nothing to scoff at either. He made his acting debut alongside his father in the touching movie Pursuit Of Happyness.  He later starred in 2010's The Karate Kid remake. Taraji P. Henson of Empire played his single mother.

Will also opened up about the negative attention his children have received while growing up in front of the media.

"They generally avoid the stuff. They're really well-adjusted around this business and understanding the nature of having to take a battering. It's a brutal world out there for young people, for everybody."
