They've been together for more than a decade and are already the happy parents of an adorable son, but Fergie and Josh Duhamel aren't opposed to eventually expanding their brood.

Fergie Dishes On Her & Josh Duhamel's Two-Week Rule

The actor, 42, appeared on Access Hollywood Feb. 18 to promote his new show, Battle Creek, and the topic eventually turned to his married life with the 39-year-old singer-and he admitted that they do plan on eventually giving 1 ½ year old son Axl Jack some siblings.

"I'd love to, hopefully in the next year or two," he said, before revealing that he would prefer to give his son some brothers, because he grew up with three older sisters.

"They taught me that I would be really happy to have another son," Duhamel said. "Girls are great. I would totally be happy to have a girl, but...they get to be those teenage years and [want] independence, you know? It isn't always easy...especially for the mother."

Regardless of what the future holds for the couple though in terms of their ability to have more kids, there is no doubt that they have a happy marriage (the couple married in 2009). While on the show, Duhamel also dished about the couple's secrets to their happy marriage.

"I would say it's working because we have a lot of fun," he said. "I genuinely like her! She likes me, you know? I'm nobody to give advice on relationships, but for whatever reason, we just really like each other."
