America has fallen in love with Alana Thompson, better known as Honey Boo Boo Child, and now the country will be able to get a second helping of Alana and her idiosyncratic family.

The TLC network has ordered additional episodes of the reality show after it has achieved massive success and buzz nationwide.

In addition to a new batch of episodes, TLC will also create three "HOLLAday" specials with the family as they celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Amy Winter, the general manager of TLC, said in a statement that the network is proud of the success "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" has found, and executives are excited to bring viewers more of what they love.

"Alana and her family have become a pop culture phenomenon," Winter said in a statement to People Magazine.. "What you see is what you get, and we are excited to share even more of their unbridled hilarity, sincerity and love with our viewers."

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" premiered last month and has had enormous ratings success. The series has attracted 2.3 million viewers per episode, on average, and a new episode of the show even pulled n more viewers than the Republican National Convention.

Viewers have one last chance for new "Honey Boo Boo" content before the show goes on hiatus. The one-hour first season finale, an episode titled "It Is What It Is," is scheduled to air Wednesday on TLC.

Alana and her family first appeared on another TLC series, "Toddlers and Tiaras." Wednesday's first-season finale will feature Alana getting ready for her most recent pageant competition with her Uncle Poodle. The episode will also feature the birth of Kaitlyn, the two-thumbed daughter of Alana's sister Chickadee.
