The 100 season 2 finale will have lasting repercussions that, needless to say, will be devastating for characters and viewers alike.

'The 100' Season 2 Spoilers: No Lexa In The Finale, Will Alycia Debnam-Carey Leave The Series For Good?

The CW series will wrap up their sophomore season on Wednesday, and it will culminate in a battle of wills between the Arkers and their Mount Weather nemeses. From Lexa to Cage, two sides of the conflict have already proved how far they will go to save their people. As Clarke decides where she will draw a moral line, "Blood Must Have Blood: Part 2" will brutally set up season 3 - perhaps with a cliffhanger.

"That's kind of spoiler-y," series creator Jason Rothenberg told E! Online when asked if the Mount Weather battle would conclude before the credits role. "I'm not sure that's a question that I want to answer today. Suffice to say, people will both be satisfied and devastated at the end of this and I think intrigued by where we're going next year."

'The 100' Season 2: Will Clarke 'Go Too Far' In The Finale? Jason Rothenberg Teases 'Blood Must Have Blood: Part 2'

If you though Clarke's awakening in the Mount Weather quarantine last season was a bombshell, Rothenberg promises the final moments of "Blood Must Have Blood: Part 2" will be just as surprising.

"We told the story of Mount Weather in full, so in Season 3, we're going to tell a different story," Rothenberg told TV Line. "It's going to feel like the same show - it's populated by the same people in the same world - but we're going to expand the playing field yet again."

Anyone else thinking City of Light for season 3?
