During The Young and the Restless episode Wednesday it appeared as though Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) was next on the list of getting harmed since she wound up on the ground of the park unconscious with a head wound.

Who Assaults Abby On 'The Young and the Restless'?

Those who were at Abbott cabin (the Abbott cabin crew) when Austin Travers (Matthew Atkinson) died are in over their heads as they fight over what they should and shouldn't do.

Soaps reported they will all continue to work against each other especially when Noah Newman (Robert Adamson) speculates that Kyle Jenkins Abbott (Lachlan Buchanan) is the one who assaulted Abby.

In the sneak peek clip below, Noah grills Kyle about his whereabouts when Abby was assaulted.

Kyle will explain to Noah that he and Abby had an argument at Crimson Lights, which she stormed out of.

A cop will arrive to take a statement from Abby and she will insist it was just a mugging, but the cop will notice and point out her purse wasn't stolen.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will arrive and Abby will snap at her to drop the topic at hand about what happened to her.

Then, in the waiting area Ben "Stitch" Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) will worry since he did tell Abby Austin's agenda, which appears to have led to her assault.

Also, in the waiting area, Kyle will try to tell Summer Newman Travers (Hunter King), Noah and Courtney Sloane (Kelli Goss) who he thinks is behind everything happening, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will interrupt him.

Kyle will piece together that whoever killed Austin and assaulted Abby didn't want something in Austin's documentary to get out and Noah will reveal it could be someone in their family.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
