NCIS has shifted Tony DiNozzo's (Michael Weatherly) love interest from Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) to Zoe Keates (Marisol Nichols).

Ever since de Pablo chose to leave the CBS series, Weatherly's character went through a slump, but has gotten back on his feet romantically.

Nichols' character first appeared this season in episode 6 Parental Guidance Suggested. She then appeared again in episode 12 The Enemy Within.

In the latest episode that aired Tuesday night, Tony was even on the phone with Zoe, making plans, but they got derailed.

Nichols has been back on the NCIS set though practically this entire week so Zoe will be returning.

On Tuesday, Nichols shared a photo of herself with Emily Wickersham, who portrays Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop, on location.

"[H]ard at work today," Nichols shared in the caption as Wickersham laid down in a vibrant green field.

Wickersham also shared a photo from their time filming in the field, but it wasn't with Nichols. Sean Murray who portrays Timothy McGee had a "face off" with Wickersham!

On Instagram, Wickersham shared another photo with Murray while restating what Nichols said in her own caption.

Pauley Perrette who portrays Abby Sciuto snapped a photo on set Wednesday of herself with Wickersham and Nichols, which she then shared on Twitter.

Nichols retweeted it and gushed, "Love these gals! #luckygirl #Blessed".

NCIS airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
